Discover our nautical base in the Lower Verdon Gorges, where you can rent a license-free electric boat departing from Lake Quinson (04). Founded in 2000, our company Verdon Electronautic specializes in license-free boat rentals. We offer 33 electric boats with a maximum speed of 7 km/h and over 8 hours of full-power autonomy. Set off with family or friends and enjoy an unforgettable and safe outing!
9 km of prehistoric scenery
Departing from the Quinson nautical base, you can explore 9 km of calm, emerald-green waters leading to Lake Esparron. To complete the full length of the Gorges, plan for about a 3-hour round trip on an electric boat ride. Throughout the Gorges, you can admire the landscape sculpted by nature and discover, around each bend, numerous prehistoric caves. A unique and historic site, classified as NATURA 2000.
To ensure you have a pleasant and relaxing experience, before each departure, we provide a quick and comprehensive training on how the boat operates. We also make it a priority to give safety instructions and navigation rules. The life jackets provided are mandatory for children under 12 and are available on board for adults. An emergency number is displayed on each boat, and an intervention boat is always on standby if needed.
Our nautical base in the Verdon Gorges is located in Quinson in the heart of the Verdon Regional Natural Park. It occupies an ideal position, allowing you to reach the lower Verdon Gorges within minutes. You will also find, 400 meters from our stand, the start of the famous "Lower Gorges Trail" or the "Canal Guard Trail," and 80 meters away the new Prehistoric Site (free and open access) created in 2022, not to mention direct access to the Quinson Prehistory Museum.
For organizational reasons, reservations are made online only via the homepage of our Verdon Electronautic website during the high season. It’s simple: just a click, no deposit or advance payment is required. Payment will be made directly on-site upon your arrival.
Please note that booking your boat is strongly recommended for weekends, school holidays, and public holidays in the low season, and every day during the high season.
You can also show up without a reservation (except on weekends, school holidays, and public holidays) or contact us by phone until the end of June, and from September to the end of October to check our availability, with departures possible in the morning and afternoon. Do not hesitate to contact our boat rental center to know the live weather conditions.
During the high season, we recommend booking your boat at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance due to the high visitor numbers in the gorges at this time. As we have a limited number of boats, we may not be able to meet all requests. In case of unfavorable weather (rain, storm, strong wind), we will contact you the day before to cancel or modify your reservation.
